80 people from 15 churches got together on Friday, September 29th 2017 at Paoli Presbyterian Church. Most were pastors and leaders of mission of their churches. They met to look at mission strategies and how churches can all work together to share the love of Christ in this area and the world.
The next day, over 150 people from at least 15 churches from the area surrounding Paoli, PA and from as far away as Cairo, Egypt spent the day at Church of the Good Samaritan listening to, and participating in engaging, informative break out sessions such as “Helping Without Hurting,” “Who Is My Neighbor?” “The Heart of Poverty,” and “Evangelism and Social Action.” The conversation, prayer and worship was inspired and focused on the proclamation and sharing of the good news of the Gospel.
Andy Crouch led and delivered the Friday evening and Saturday plenary sessions. Donations went to support The Philadelphia Project.
That weekend Great Co-Mission event inspired groups to form to continue what was started.
